Bristol Poker League

A pub based league system the Bristol Poker League gives the chance to play Texas Hold'em Poker. There is no cash involved, games are played for points, and anyone can join in as long as they are 18 years of age. People are welcome to join from all over the country and it is free of charge. Prizes are awarded to the champion of the league at the end of every month.

There’s a long list of venues who are members of the league, each with its own league and leaderboard. Each calendar month, the player who has the most points in any particular pub is honoured as the champion player and receives a traditional piece of Blue Glass made in Bristol, with their name imprinted on it.
At present there are around 16 pubs and clubs that are league members hosting a number of games at least once a week.
The Bristol Poker League has individual pubs leaderboards and also keeps a record of each player’s scores. The aim is to reach their ‘grand finale’ where you have to compete with 79 other players to win the champions trophy and the top prize. This occurs on a monthly basis. To become one of the 80 winners you either have to win a particular pub.
